Specialist ophthalmologist

Michaela Ratajová, MD graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in Hradec Králové, Charles University in Prague. In 2013, she completed a course in the English language at the European School of English in St. Julians.

She completed an internship at the Eye Department of the Hradec Králové University Hospital and further specialized internships at the Hradec Králové University Hospital, the Trutnov Regional Hospital, and the Havlíčkův Brod Hospital. In 2021, she completed a specialized internship at the Ophthalmology Clinic of FNKV (general outpatient clinic, inpatient department, assisting in surgeries).

Michaela Ratajová, MD has been working as a specialist ophthalmologist at the Eye Centre Prague since August 2017.

She focuses on pediatric ophthalmology, working as a pediatric eye doctor in our outpatient clinic MediPort Holešovice. Additionally, she provides comprehensive eye care for adults, pre- and post-operative care for cataract surgeries, and performs laser procedures to remove cataracts. She participates in international clinical studies related to the development of intraocular implants.

She regularly attends professional ophthalmology congresses and specialized courses for ophthalmologists in the Czech Republic and abroad. Each year, she actively publishes posters at the ČOS congress and also presented a poster at the ESCRS 2019 congress in Paris.

In her free time, Dr. Ratajová particularly enjoys spending time with her family and participating in sports; she loves cycling and running.
