Lucie Frantlová, MD graduated from the 3rd Faculty of Medicine of Charles University in Prague. In 2015, she completed an internship at the Ophthalmology Clinic of the Faculty Hospital Královské Vinohrady in Prague, followed by additional specialized internships at the Příbram Regional Hospital and Na Bulovce Hospital in Prague. In 2020 and 2021, she completed specialized internships at the Ophthalmology Clinic of FNKV (general outpatient clinic, inpatient department, assisting in surgeries).

Dr. Frantlová has completed certification studies in English and German, culminating in certification examinations.

Lucie Frantlová, MD has been working at the Eye Centre Prague since February 2017 as a specialist ophthalmologist. Since 2021, she has also been leading our network of outpatient MediPort clinics.

Since May 2023, she has served as the Head Physician of the outpatient operations of the Eye Centre Prague and the MediPort network, and in September 2024, she was appointed as the Head Physician of the application and retinal center.

She focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of retinal diseases—performing retinal laser treatments and administering intraocular injections with anti-VEGF agents. Additionally, she is involved in the diagnosis and treatment of keratoconus (performing Corneal Cross-linking procedures and closely collaborating with an optometrist for further care of keratoconus patients), general comprehensive care, eyelid plastic surgeries, and other surgical interventions.

She regularly participates in professional ophthalmology congresses and specialized courses for ophthalmologists in the Czech Republic and abroad. Each year, she actively lectures at the ČOS congress.

She is a member of the Czech Ophthalmological Society (ČOS), the Czech Medical Society JEP, the ESCRS (European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons), the Czech Society of Refractive and Cataract Surgery (ČSRKCH), and EuDES (European Dry Eye Society).

In her free time, she enjoys reading, traveling, and playing volleyball.
