Accreditations and certifications

Eye Centre Prague is accredited by the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic.

The decision to grant authorization to provide healthcare services was issued by the District Office of the Prague 7 Municipality under reference no. NZZ-8/2000 on July 17, 2000.

The expert guarantor of Eye Centre Prague is the head of the Central Military Hospital, Doc. MUDr. Jiří Pašta, CSc., FEBO, who performs over 1,000 surgeries at Eye Centre Prague each year. A professional advantage of Eye Centre Prague is the possibility of supervision at the prestigious Prague Central Military Hospital.

Accredited Facility of Type III

Eye Centre Prague has received the highest level of accreditation from the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic and has become an accredited Type III facility for the field of ophthalmology.

Type III accreditation was granted to us due to the complexity of the care provided, making us only the third private facility in the Czech Republic to achieve this status. Based on this accreditation, Eye Centre Prague can currently conduct its own specialized training for the specialty field of OPHTHALMOLOGY.

ISO 9001:2015 Quality Certificate

Eye Centre Prague has long been a holder of the ISO 9001:2015 quality certificate.

An independent supervisory audit of the quality management system confirmed the long-standing quality of care at Eye Centre Prague, and we have thus upheld the certificate of the internationally recognized quality standard ISO 9001:2015 in the certification area: "Provision of outpatient diagnostic and therapeutic care in the field of ophthalmology specializing in cataract surgery, refractive surgery, and retinal surgery."

This certificate is confirmation that the quality of Eye Centre Prague is consistently and long-term at a high level.
