Josef
After cataract surgery

"It's incredible how much progress ophthalmology has made in just two years."

Two eyes, two experiences

Mr. Josef came to us for his first eye surgery two years ago. Back then, he followed the recommendation of his ophthalmologist and decided to have only one eye operated on. Today, he admits with a smile that he slightly regrets that decision – the second eye could have been taken care of long ago, and he could have enjoyed sharp vision in both.

At the same time, he adds that he's actually glad he came now. He learned how much progress ophthalmology has made once again – today, it's common practice to operate on both eyes at once. The patient undergoes everything in a single day, doesn’t have to feel anxious twice, both eyes heal simultaneously, and they enjoy clear vision immediately in both eyes.

He also noticed another welcome change – there's no longer a need to patch the eye after surgery, so he noticed the improvement in vision almost instantly.

We thank Mr. Josef for his trust and for sharing his story, which may serve as encouragement for those who are still hesitating.
