Deaf patient after cataract surgery

"I am thrilled with the surgery, thank you for the great approach and clear vision!"

Seeing clearly is extremely important for Mr. František Tichý. As a deaf person, he needs to have perfect vision in order to communicate well.

Therefore, he underwent bilateral cataract surgery with Associate Professor Jiří Pašta. The surgery was challenging not only due to the advanced cataracts but also because of the communication with the patient and the fact that vision is still blurry after the surgery. Despite all this, Mr. Tichý was absolutely thrilled after the surgery on the first eye and clearly instructed that he wanted to proceed with the second eye immediately!

He praised our surgical nurse, Jana, for her excellent communication, saying that she hardly needed an interpreter, who was also present in the operating room.

We sincerely thank Mr. Tichý for his trust and great cooperation during the surgery, which went absolutely perfectly! He was our second deaf patient, and we are pleased that we could also provide him with quality vision.
