OCP Doctor After ReLEx SMILE Laser Surgery

At Eye Centre Prague, we believe in what we do, and that’s why even our own doctors undergo surgeries with us. The latest is Dr. Aneta Novotná, who underwent laser vision correction with the ReLEx SMILE method.

Before surgery, Dr. Novotná had -4.0 and -3.5 diopters, along with -1.0 cylinder in each eye. Since glasses limited her, especially during sports, she preferred contact lenses. However, she began experiencing dry eye issues and could no longer tolerate the lenses.

Her inspiration came from her patients and their enthusiasm after surgery.

"I had considered laser vision correction to remove my diopters since high school, but I was afraid. Only when I began conducting consultations before laser procedures and post-operative check-ups and saw the excitement and satisfaction in my patients did I decide to undergo the ReLEx SMILE laser method myself," says Dr. Aneta Novotná.
