CNN Prima NEWS Report: Refractive eye surgery

In the 20th episode of the program What About Your Health, aired on December 13, 2024, CNN Prima NEWS featured a report on refractive eye surgeries, filmed directly at the Eye Centre Prague.

What will you learn in the report?

The report introduces refractive surgeries that allow patients to eliminate the need for glasses and contact lenses. You will learn about the process of laser eye surgery and the so-called phakic lens, a suitable alternative for patients for whom laser surgery is not the ideal solution. Two of our patients shared on camera their reasons for choosing the surgery.

The report was filmed directly at our Eye Centre Prague, where expert advice was provided by Dr. Andrea Janeková, who performs refractive surgeries at our clinic to help patients free themselves from glasses.
