In the 16th episode of the program "What About Your Health" on November 15, 2024, CNN Prima NEWS aired a report on macular degeneration and biological treatment, which was filmed directly at Eye Centre Prague.

What Will You Learn in the Report?

In the report, our patient Vladimír Skála shares his experience with macular degeneration. His vision was constantly distorted, wavy, and distant objects appeared warped. Dr. Lucie Frantlová, the Chief Doctor of the Application and Retinal Centre at Eye Centre Prague, explains the causes of impaired vision in the report. She also describes the treatment process using intraocular injections with biological preparations.
