The success of our doctors at the ČSRKCH Congress

Our Dr. Michal Janek, the founder of ČSRKCH, has received a great honor—he was awarded honorary membership for his contributions to ophthalmology.

Dr. Michal Janek is a prominent figure in the field of Czech cataract surgery. He was among the first to perform cataract removal using ultrasound phacoemulsification and was an advocate for the outpatient approach to this surgery. With nearly 30,000 cataract surgeries performed, he ranks among the leading surgeons in the Czech Republic.

Our Dr. Lucie Frantlová presented within the professional program and won the Chairman's Award in the Grant Competition of ČSRKCH for her presentation 'Visual Acuity of Patients with Retinal Pathology after Bilateral Implantation of EDoF Intraocular Lens Vivity.'

Dr. Lucie Frantlová focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of retinal diseases. She also specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of keratoconus, general comprehensive care, and performs laser procedures and minor surgical interventions.
