Michal Janek, MD, has received an award for his lifetime contribution to ophthalmology

Our surgeon, doctor Michal Janek, received an amazing award for his lifetime contribution to ophthalmology. The award was presented to him by professor Pavel Rozsíval during the Zlín Eye Festival, which took place at the end of March in Zlín.

In addition to the award, doctor Janek also received the 'Golden Eye Spreader for an Eye Surgeon with a Golden Character' from his colleagues (note: 'eye spreader' is a surgical instrument used to open the eye at the beginning of the surgery and keep it open throughout the operation).
