Zuzana HANIGOVSKÁ, MD
Specialist ophthalmologist

Zuzana Hanigovská, MD graduated in General Medicine from the First Faculty of Medicine at Charles University in Prague. In 2024, she completed the ESASO Special Programme: Cataract & Cornea, focused on cataract surgery and corneal diseases. During her studies, she also undertook a one-month internship at Amelia House Care Home in York, United Kingdom.

After graduating, she worked as a physician at the Ophthalmology Department of the Regional Hospital in Příbram and also at a private clinic in Prague. Before joining Eye Centre Prague, she worked at the Ophthalmology Clinic of the Slovak Medical University and University Hospital Bratislava – St. Cyril and Methodius Hospital, where she specialized in the retina clinic and injection centre.

She has been part of Eye Centre Prague since April 2025, working as an ophthalmologist.

She provides comprehensive eye care, performs pre-operative assessments and post-operative check-ups for cataract surgery patients. She is also part of the retina and intravitreal injection centre at Eye Centre Prague, where she focuses on the care of patients with retinal diseases.

In her free time, she enjoys travelling, exercising, riding her motorcycle, and attending cultural and music events.
