Life without glasses is great
MUDr. Vladimir Kravchenko graduated from the 1st Faculty of Medicine at Charles University in Prague, specializing in General Medicine. During his studies, he gained practical experience at various institutions and worked for several years as an ophthalmic nurse at a private clinic. He also completed a voluntary internship at the ophthalmology department of a hospital in Chemnitz, Germany. As part of his professional development, in 2024, he participated in a microsurgery training program focused on cataract surgery and corneal transplantation at the European School for Advanced Studies in Ophthalmology in Switzerland.
He is currently a postgraduate student in the MBA program in healthcare management.
After completing his studies, he worked as an ophthalmologist at Krajská zdravotní hospital in Most and later at the ophthalmology department of the Bulovka University Hospital in Prague. He worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings, performing YAG laser treatments, minor plastic surgeries, and other surgical interventions. Since 2024, he has also worked as a specialist ophthalmologist at private clinics.
At Eye Centre Prague, he has been working as a specialist ophthalmologist since March 2025.
He holds a certification for prescribing MiSight contact lenses for children with progressive myopia.
He regularly participates in professional ophthalmological congresses and specialized courses for ophthalmologists.
He speaks fluently in Czech, English, German, Russian, and Hebrew.
