After the implantation of a phakic lens

"I felt like I was in a wellness center."

Ms. Kristýna underwent a phakic lens implantation surgery with us, fulfilling one of her big wishes – to see the world clearly without glasses or contact lenses. The surgery went smoothly, and she said she felt like she was in a wellness center with us.

And since June is a month full of joys for her – she’s celebrating her birthday and getting ready for her dream honeymoon, which didn’t happen last year – we are thrilled to have been part of her fulfilled wishes. Now, she can fully enjoy all those beautiful moments, with a new perspective and the lightness that comes with life without glasses.

A phakic lens is the ideal solution for patients who cannot undergo laser surgery, for example, due to high diopters. It is implanted in the eye in front of the natural lens and allows for high-quality vision without limiting daily life.
